The Joseph F. Glidden Homestead and Historical Center will hold its annual fundraiser "The Taste" (formerly known as Divas Dish) on Saturday, April 22.
It will be from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Barsema Alumni and Visitors Center on Annie Glidden Road in DeKalb.
This is a taste testing event to benefit the work at the Center -- the location where barbed wire was first patented by Mr. Glidden in 1874. Volunteer chefs will present samples of their favorite recipies.
Tickets are available at all First National Bank locations, the Daily Chronicle, American Title Guaranty and the Glidden Homestead; you can also call (815) 756-7904
